Lamar Odom has revealed the ‘sick’ reason he ordered a custom-made sex doll with a face modeled after that of his ex-wife Khloe Kardashian.
The 45-year-old former NBA star was married to Khloe from 2009 to 2016, in a relationship that was rocked by his infidelity and substance abuse.
Earlier this month it emerged that he had commissioned a custom-made life-size sex doll with a curvy figure and Khloe’s facial features.
His manager Gina Rodriguez said that Lamar was happy with the fact that he can do anything he wants sexually, to the simulacrum of his ex-wife, via TMZ.
Social media users responded with disgust on X, formerly Twitter, where one stunned observer wrote: “This is beyond weird and creepy.”
Now Lamar has broken his silence on the controversial purchase, insisting he purchased the doll for his “mental health,” on the podcast We’re out of time.

“If you really think about it, like, ‘A doll?'” Lamar admitted. “But then you think about mental health, and how important that is, not just today, but just, you know, since the beginning of time.”
“A sex doll that looks like your wife, is that sanity?” asked podcast host Richard Taite, whose show focuses on sobriety.
“For me it would be,” the former basketball star replied. “Yeah, I mean, it’s sick, but I think we’re all a little off, or a little weird, a little.”
He confirmed that his doll will be built to look like Khloe, and joked that “I need a harem” and “I need to sell these things!”
DailyMail.com reached out to a representative for Khloe for comment when it first emerged that Lamar had ordered the item.
Lamar purchased the toys from RealDoll, which typically sells its products for between $8,000 and $20,000, although he reportedly received a discount.
He heard about the company from a news report a month earlier and then toured the Las Vegas factory while visiting Sin City for his birthday.
The former Los Angeles Laker has already ordered and paid for the Khloe sex doll, which is still under construction but will apparently be delivered in time for the holidays.

A video from his tour shows Lamar playfully wielding one of the dildos, which is apparently called a “squirt machine.”
He also wandered around a display of various sex dolls, which were hung from hooks at the top and hung in various states of undress.
Lamar was shown the doll that he was told had the “biggest t**s” and the “biggest a**” in the factory, and took his time to marvel at the creation.
He squeezed the breasts and touched one of the feet, noting that the figure was so realistic “it looks like she has blood running through her veins here.”
As news of his purchase circulated online,
Some commented on how “weird” and “creepy” they found Lamar, while others joked that he had relapsed into his former drug problem.

Lamar wasn’t without his defenders, though, with one person pointing out that acquiring a sex doll was “cheaper in the long run compared to whores.”
