Baltimore Ravens star quarterback Lamar Jackson revealed that he likes to wear women’s perfume and explained his bizarre preference.
Away from the football field, Jackson is embarking on other ventures and recently released his new unisex perfume ‘Night Lights’.
While the passing machine and reigning NFL MVP plays a very masculine game, he wasn’t ashamed to admit his admiration for women’s scents.
In an interview with GQ, the quarterback talked about how his scent preference led to his latest creation.
“What made me want to make my own perfume is that I just want to smell good,” he said.
“People may not know this about me, but I prefer girly perfume or something, something soft,” Jackson revealed. “That’s why I wanted to make something unisex, you know.”

‘Instead of just talking about us men, I thought: I want to smell like a woman sometimes. So let me grab something that might be in between.”
When a producer asked Jackson to describe the scent of his perfume, he sprayed it on his wrist and dissected the characteristics of his product.
“Beautiful,” he began. ‘Soft, for women, probably sexy. For the boys, like a man.’
So far this season, Jackson has completed 254 of 379 attempts for 3,290 yards and 29 touchdowns. On the other hand, he threw three interceptions and was sacked nineteen times in his thirteen appearances.
The Ravens are 8-5 and ranked second in the AFC North. After getting a week off, Baltimore will look to avenge their Week 13 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles when they take on the New York Giants.
