Taking to Instagram on Thursday, the 34-year-old mother of two said the poor air quality was making it difficult for her four-month-old daughter Sosa to breathe.

The former Vanderpump Rules personality wrote via the app’s Stories feature: “This morning Sosa woke up and was having a lot of trouble breathing.

‘I made the decision to pack up my family and come to Palm Springs based strictly on the air quality. “This is where we will stay until Los Angeles is safe again.”

Lala, whose full name is Lauren, gave birth to her second child on September 3. She also shares her three-year-old daughter Ocean with her ex-fiancé Randall Emmett.

The reality show star’s somber post continued: ‘This is one of the most devastating situations I have ever seen.

Opening her heart to her 2.4 million followers, she went on to say, “I’m obsessed with how we could have been so unprepared.”

Kent, who lives in the valley, said his “heart breaks for my community.”

She told her fans: “We haven’t been directly affected and I’m trying to be grateful for that – it’s hard what I see other people go through.”

The star expressed feeling ‘sad’, but also ‘angry’ by emphasizing that there are ‘looters’ and ‘lack of water’.

But he said, “I’ll save that rant for a later date.”

In a second Instagram Stories post, he acknowledged those working diligently to control the fires.

‘For now, all I want to do is thank our firefighters and first responders. The heroes of our city,” he wrote.

Closing his posts, he added: ‘And to everyone affected: I know you feel alone. You are not alone.’
