Police have launched an appeal to find a missing boy and his father in the Lake Illawarra region of New South Wales.
Mason Simpson, aged nine, was last seen in Corkwood Street, Albion Park Rail, a suburb of Shellharbour, on Thursday, February 29 and is believed to have been in the company of his father, Leon.
The couple could be in the Goulburn area and driving a black Ford SUV with registration CA-51-CB.
Mason has not attended school for several days and police and his family fear for his well-being due to his young age.
Mason is described as white, between 140cm and 145cm tall, of medium build, with shoulder-length brown hair and eyes.
More to follow.
Police are asking for the public’s help in locating Mason Simpson (left) and his father Leon (right).
Officers posted a photo of a black van they believed the couple might be traveling in.
Police said the vehicle they believe could help in their search has the license plate CA-51-CB.
