Lainey Wilson almost left Yellowstone before making her acting debut in the popular drama.

The singer-turned-actress, 30, who rocked the audience during a performance of Alanis Morissette’s “You Oughta Know” at the CMT Awards, said concern for her father’s health was the reason for her reluctance to continue the show.

“In the middle of filming Yellowstone, my dad was in the hospital, he was in the intensive care unit,” she said. Dutton Rules Podcast.
