According to a media report, Konrad Laimer has signed a four-year contract with record-breaking German soccer champions FC Bayern Munich.
As “Sky” reported, the Austrian national player from RB Leipzig completed both medical checks and signed a contract until 2027. Laimer comes on a free transfer.
The 25-year-old midfielder was considered the absolute dream player by ex-Leipzig and Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann. Despite his release from Bayern, Laimer comes to Munich. The “Bild” reported last Wednesday that the Laimers transfer was perfect.
Laimer is also said to have had offers from Liverpool and Chelsea. He came to Leipzig from RB Salzburg in 2017.
Laimer wanted to go to Bayern last summer, but a transfer did not materialize after the Saxons vetoed it.
