Lady Kitty’s siblings Lady Eliza and Amelia, 28, have both been quiet on social media in recent days as her father Charles shared a video of his Althorp House home yesterday morning.

Lady Kitty’s cousins, Prince William, 39, or Prince Harry, 36, are unlikely to attend the event in Italy amid the ongoing Covid-19 crisis in the UK and US.

Wedding guests are believed to be staying at the five-star hotel de la Ville in Rome, including Viscountess Emma Weymouth, singer Pixie Lott and artist Piotr Krzymowski.

Photographer German Larkin shared the sweet straw bag left for guests on arrival at the hotel, with Italian flag colors on the straps and the word ‘baci’ embroidered on it, meaning ‘pillow’ in Italian.

The bag was packed with an assortment of gifts from the soon-to-be couple.

The model spent the past week in Italy with friends, and several people went on to share messages indicating her marriage was imminent.

The meals shared the menu on their social media accounts and included a classic veal and tuna salad, beef broth and pumpkin cream ravioli, baked eggplant and a selection of sweet treats.

Made in Chelsea star Mark Francis Vandelli also uploaded a coy message from Rome, simply saying: ‘And so it starts @kitty.spencer’.

Earlier in the summer issue of City & Country, Princes William and Harry’s model cousin said, ‘It’s not that I don’t care about love. It is because love is the most important thing in the world to me, and I will protect it with all my heart by not making it a subject of discussion.

“You open yourself up to other people who have an opinion, and it’s just irrelevant to anyone’s life except mine and my family.

Despite being tight-lipped, Kitty added: “I’m just looking forward to a very happy family life: a happy marriage and happy children. And I feel very peaceful that things are going as they should.’

Kitty’s fiancé Michael has three grown children and was previously married to a woman named Leola in 1985.

It is not yet known whether Lady Kitty will convert to Judaism, the faith of Mr. Lewis, before the big day.

In August 2019, Lady Kitty was seen kissing Lewis after she left Club 55 in St Tropez.

In June, she was pictured wearing a large diamond ring on her engagement finger at the Cash & Rocket Masquerade Ball in London.

Like Diana, the London-born daughter of Diana’a brother Charles Spencer and Victoria Aitken grew up in the Spencer family seat of Althorp in Northamptonshire.

While Kitty is often seen as glamorous in the public eye, her brother Louis, 27, who will inherit the title from their father, remains less visible.

“The birthright can be a tricky subject because as times change, attitudes change too. We grew up realizing that it’s Louis to inherit, and Louis will do a fantastic job,” Kitty added.

Speaking of her childhood, she continued: ‘We have such an emotional connection with Althorp. There we would look for our Easter eggs and have our Christmas days; I have my vegetable garden, I learned to ride a horse there, I learned to cycle and skate.

“It’s so beautiful to look back at history and think that everyone there probably learned to ride a horse too.”

The Spencer siblings – including twin sisters Eliza and Amelia – all turned heads when they attended Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal wedding in 2018.

Overnight, Kitty’s Instagram following jumped from 37,000 to a whopping half a million.

“I woke up the next day and looked at my phone and thought, ‘Oops, did I accidentally take someone else’s?’ It was very weird, and a bit overwhelming.’

Speaking about her relationship with her siblings, Eliza and Amelia, she added, “We’re a bit of a tripod. It was terrible to be divorced this year.

“They’re in South Africa, which is only an hour earlier, and with two flights a day, you usually have the reassuring thought, ‘I can always be there in the morning if I need it.’

“It was awful to be completely cut off and thinking, no matter what happens, we can’t be there for each other…”

Despite Kitty usually living a jet set lifestyle, she has traveled much less this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Last summer, Kitty shared a glimpse into her ultra-luxurious trip to the French Riveriea and the Italian coast of Amalfi and Capri, and showcased delicious meals and idyllic beaches on her Instagram page.

Kitty has had a global outlook from an early age, growing up between Althorp and Cape Town, South Africa.

In addition to her studies at the University of Cape Town, she later studied art history and Italian in Florence,

When she was a student in Italy, she added: ‘Everything felt so simple and carefree, but you are still stimulated in a culturally rich environment.

‘It’s just pure enjoyment and learning, and being surrounded by all kinds of beauty. If I’m lucky enough to reach retirement age, you’ll find me in Florence.’
