Chameleon: Gaga has traded her blonde locks for a rich brunette for her role in Ridley Scott’s upcoming drama House Of Gucci (seen on set in Rome on March 22, 2021 above)
Gaga is currently in Italy shooting scenes for director Ridley Scott’s upcoming movie House Of Gucci, a star-studded crime drama based on real-life events.
She will star as ‘Black Widow’ Patrizia Reggiana opposite her on-screen husband Adam Driver, who will play Maurizio Gucci, heir to the Italian fashion empire.
The film documents Patrizia Reggiani Gucci’s plot to murder her ex-husband Maurizio, and was found guilty of paying a hit man £ 240,000 for the murder of 46-year-old Maurizio Gucci in 1995.
Ever the devoted actress, Gaga has physically transformed for the role, dropping her signature blonde or pastel locks for a dark brown brunette look.
Reggiani gave her estranged husband a hit after Gucci left her for another woman 10 years earlier, telling her he was going on a business trip from which he never returned.
Reggiani was initially sentenced to 29 years in 1998, reduced to 26 years on appeal. She was serving 18 before being released in October 2014.
The film is based on the bestselling The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamor and Greed by author Sara Gay Forden.
