Lady Gaga has announced a special 10th anniversary edition of Born This Way.
The groundbreaking 2011 LP turned a decade old over the weekend and the pop superstar has announced that the upcoming release will feature six new renditions of songs from the record featuring LGBTQIA + artists.
The first to be released is the version of Big Freedia vs. Judas, out now, and the full collection will arrive on June 18.

Fans can also expect covers from Highway Unicorn, You & I, Marry the Night, The Edge of Glory and the album’s title track.
In a statement, Big Freedia said, ‘Judas was my favorite song when it originally came out so I really wanted to cover it.
‘To me Judas is a love song about when someone gets you dirty. I certainly have my experience with that. Who can’t talk to it? ‘
The Born This Way Anniversary LP news comes days after Gaga hosted West Hollywood’s Key to the City on Born This Way day this week.

The 35-year-old singer’s record number was honored for her cultural impact.
West Hollywood Mayor Lindsey P. Horvath handed the Grammy winner the key to the city and proclaimed May 23rd Born This Way Day.
Horvath said to Gaga, “Thank you for encouraging us to love ourselves and be proud!”
A painting of the album’s title in the form of a proud flag was unveiled on Robertson Boulevard in honor of the LGBTQIA + community, and Stupid Love’s hitmaker pledged to be ‘always there for this day’.
Gaga said, “Thank you for this key. You’re – I’m sure this will sound silly to some people, not to me – you’ve been the motherf ***** key to my heart for a long time. I will honor and cherish this, and I promise I will always be there for this day.

This comes after news Friends stars Matthew Perry and Courteney Cox are distant cousins - and they are both related to Lady Gaga.
