Lady Amelia Windsor reveals her spectacular new haircut on Instagram ahead of summer

Lady Amelia Windsor has shown off her spectacular new hairstyle for the summer and revealed that she had had several centimeters cut from her long locks.

The 28-year-old model took to her Instagram Story on Thursday to document her visit to a London-based hair salon, before revealing her new look.

The third cousin of Prince Harry and Prince William has ditched her long blonde tresses in favor of a more stripped-down look.

She abandoned her long hair for a modern bob that highlights her jaw and decided to go to George Northwood’s hair salon for her new cut.

The company has an illustrious clientele that includes Rachel Weisz, Alicia Vikander and Julianne Moore. Hairdresser George Northwood has also been a favorite of the likes of Alexa Chung and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

Lady Amelia teased the new transformation on her Story by posting a photo with her golden locks spread across the floor alongside the eyes emoji.

The royal, who previously studied French and Italian at the University of Edinburgh, then uploaded a clip of a hairdresser drying her wet, styled hair.

When it was dry, Amelia shared another video of her smiling and shaking her head to show off her new hairstyle, as she seemed to be very happy with the result.

Lady Amelia and her older sister, Lady Marina, are granddaughters of Prince Edward, Duke of Kent, of whom their father, George Windsor, is the youngest son.

Amelia is also King Charles’ second cousin once removed and is 43rd in line to the throne.

The young royal works as a model and has signed with Storm Model Management, which also has Lady Kitty Spencer, Cara Delevingne and Kate Moss on its roster.

Her modeling career began in 2016, when she appeared on the cover of Tatler, who called her Britain’s “most beautiful” royal.

Since then, Amelia has collaborated with Bulgari, Chanel and is a contributing fashion editor to Tatler magazine.

Amelia was last seen last week at the Chelsea Flower Show, where she debuted her first flower display.

The royal looked radiant as she arrived in a long red check print dress, which was completed with halter neckline and chunky white sneakers for keep it informal.

He had been working with the team at Kent Wildflower Seeds to bring his first wildflower garden to the 2024 show.

The model, who had just returned from a whirlwind trip to Venice, attended the show to offer her “creativity and support” to the show.

The final results of the flower display were impressive, with a variety of wildflowers including yellow rattlesnake, common toadflax and tattered robin.

A standout element was a series of drawers, from which wildflowers sprouted for a wild yet aesthetically pleasing look.

Meanwhile, artist Claire Basler painted a “magical” backdrop for the wildflower display that included musk mallow, clover, daisies, fennel and wild carrot.

“I am very excited and honored to be a very small part of the team at Kent Wildflower Seeds’ first garden at the Chelsea Flower Show,” Lady Amelia wrote on her Instagram page.

In addition to her work as a model, the enthusiastic Amelia is a freelance gardening writer.
