Juarez took photographs of the injuries to show school officials and campus police, but claims nothing was done about them.
She added that her daughter continued to be targeted by stalkers and that several attacks were caught on camera.
Juárez revealed that the teenager’s three-year-old brother was devastated by the news of his sister’s death.
“He’s sad,” Juárez said. ‘He misses his sister. I just do not know. I want to die.’
Juárez also said ABC7 that her daughter was “very obedient, very good daughter, very good sister.”
“I’m just asking for justice,” he said.
The director of the Secondary School of Manual Arts, Alejandro Macías, said he was “saddened” by the death of the student “off campus.”
“On behalf of our entire school community, I want to offer my deepest condolences to those affected by this loss, including the student’s family, friends and teachers,” he said.
