Jason Kelce has revealed that his wife Kylie

Jason Kelce has revealed that Kylie, his wife of six years, “hates” pet nicknames, admitting he can’t call her things like “baby” or “honey.”

The couple, who recently announced they were expecting their fourth child, admitted as much during a recent appearance on the YouTube series Good Mythical Morning while playing a game with the hosts called Are We Closer Than a Married Couple?

Presenters Rhett and Link wanted to see if they knew each other better than Jason, 37, and Kylie, 32, and played a game where they had to answer a series of questions and guess their partner’s answer.

One question in particular was: ‘If your partner had to choose a new name, what would it be?’ The options being Echo, Baby, Appaloosa, Flash and Onyx.

After Kylie chose her answer, Jason was also forced to guess when he admitted, “Kylie hates nicknames or pet nicknames, so I guess it’s not a baby.”

The former NFL player then revealed: “I called her Jo because when she played hockey she reminded me of a baby kangaroo the way she crouched, so I called her Joey and narrowed it down to Jo, that’s my only nickname.”

‘And you agree with that?’ The hosts asked Kylie, to which she responded, “Yeah, that one’s good.”

‘But how did you try others?’ They investigated further and added: ‘Honey? Bass? as Kylie responded: ‘Oh honey, he’s not allowed to say it!’

‘Because?’ the hosts asked as Kylie explained, “There are certain nicknames, baby, baby, baby, baby, baby, that you can only be called that, like a waitress at a restaurant.”

He continued: “And otherwise, in Philadelphia they say something like, ‘it’s okay, honey,’ almost like a ‘bless your heart,’ it’s like high-pitched. “It just feels aggressive in a way that’s not welcome.”

Jason then set about trying to guess what name his wife had chosen and said, “I’m pretty sure it’s Appaloosa or Echo.”

However, he ended up making a mistake when he put all his chips on Appaloosa, as Kylie had actually chosen the name Flash.

Kylie asked her husband: ‘Why did I choose Flash?’ but the former athlete looked very confused.

Turns out his cat growing up was named Flash, but Jason still couldn’t see the correlation and blurted out, “What does that have to do with it?”

‘I thought we were going to be on the same page!’ Kylie responded, as the hosts quickly progressed the game.

It comes just days after Kylie responded to critics who took offense to her use of profanity in front of her children.

In a preview of her new podcast Not Gonna Lie, which debuted last Thursday, Kylie admitted that she swears in front of her three daughters, Wyatt, Elliotte and Bennett, “on a daily basis.”

Kylie decided to hit back, specifically to a New York Post article about her admission.

‘The problem I have here is… it was probably an exaggeration that I curse in front of my children every day? Yeah,” he began during a segment titled F**k Around and Find Out.

‘Do I curse in front of my children most days? Also yes. But my children know, as I said before, that these are adult words.

‘They don’t try to use them, they don’t say them, they don’t stop short, they aren’t horrified by them. Because I don’t use them with my children, I only use them in front of my children.’
