More than a month after Jason Kelce announced the end of his NFL career, his wife Kylie came up with a thoughtful retirement gift for the Eagles legend.
On Monday, Kylie shared a wooden replica of Lincoln Financial Field that she’s giving Jason and revealed that she planned the gift two years ago.
The replica was made by Savannah-based artist Dana Theobald. In addition to the impressive miniature stadium, the piece also had Jason’s name, jersey number (62) and professional achievements embedded in the frame.
‘I messaged @danatheo.designes TWO years ago!’ Kylie wrote on her Instagram story.
“He came up with this beautiful custom design and then waited for me to greenlight the retreat for J’s final list of accolades.”

Jason received a wooden replica of Lincoln Financial Field, the Eagles’ home stadium.
Kylie revealed that she planned to give Jason the gift two years before he retired.
On March 4, Jason held a press conference to announce his retirement after 13 seasons.
‘A project that is very special to me and that I am very excited to share’ Theobald subtitled Photos of the replica on Instagram.
‘Thank you so much @kykelce for asking me to make @jason.kelce’s retirement gift from Lincoln Financial Field. It was a real honour.’
On March 4, Jason hung up his shoes after 13 seasons, all in the City of Brotherly Love. During his time with the Eagles, Kelce made five first-team All-Pro selections and seven Pro Bowl selections.
Kelce was also part of the 2018 Super Bowl winning team.
Although he will be stepping away from the field, Kelce hinted that he will remain involved with the organization. In January, he told the Philadelphia researcher: “I don’t know what’s going to happen to me, but I do know that I still want to be involved in the organization and continue to be a part of it, regardless of what the decision is.”
“Because I never want to feel like I’m on the outside looking in at these accomplishments and these accolades and these opportunities that largely represent entire cities and fan bases and organizations,” Kelce continued. “It’s too good a feeling to pass up.”
