Kylian Mbappé has reportedly signed his contract to join Real Madrid as a free agent ahead of next season.
Mbappé, 25, told PSG in February that he will leave the club when his contract expires this summer.
The striker has long been linked with a move to Real Madrid and was on the verge of joining Los Blancos in the summer of 2022, before making a U-turn and signing a new contract with the Ligue 1 side.
However, he will finally represent the Spanish giants after Fabrizio Romano reported that everything is agreed and said that Mbappé had signed a contract with the club.
In a video on his X account, the Italian said: ‘Kylian Mbappé to Real Madrid… HERE WE GO.
Kylian Mbappé has reportedly signed a deal to join Real Madrid as a free agent this summer.
The French superstar has been pursued by Real throughout his career in a long-running saga.

‘The saga is finally over. Kylian Mbappé arrives at Real Madrid as a free agent at the end of the season.
“The contract is signed, the announcement will be very soon, in the coming weeks, but Real Madrid will have one more star in its squad.
‘Kylian Mbappé arrives from PSG and is a historic HERE WE GO.’
A move to the Bernabéu will finally end the speculation that has followed Mbappé throughout his career.
In February it was reported that Real Madrid, who won the Champions League on Saturday, had agreed a deal with Mbappe that would see the striker join on a free transfer in the summer, with a signing-on fee of £85.5 million, meaning the Spanish giants will get their man after a seven-year chase.
However, there has been no official announcement regarding his future since then, but Mbappe explained in March that one would be made ahead of Euro 2024 in Germany this summer, where he will captain France.
“People will know my future before the Euro. I’m very calm,” he told Telefoot.
“My future is no longer a big issue at the club, no one talks to me about it anymore.
“I will be at the Eurocup with a calm head and ready to do great things.”
Although his departure from PSG had been expected since last summer, Mbappé only officially announced that he would be leaving on Friday, May 10, when he shared a heartfelt message to the club’s fans.
Despite constant speculation, Mbappé scored 44 goals in 48 games during the season.
The 25-year-old leaves as PSG’s all-time top scorer, having scored 256 goals in Paris.
‘I wanted to talk with you. “I always said that I would talk to you when the time came and that’s why I wanted to announce to everyone that it is my last year at Paris Saint-Germain,” he said.
‘I will not extend any further and the adventure will come to an end in a few weeks.
‘I will play my last game at the Parc des Princes on Sunday. It’s a lot of emotion; Many years where I had the opportunity and the great honor of being a member of the largest club in France, one of the best in the world, which allowed me to get here, to have my first experience in a club with a lot of pressure.
‘Growing as a player, of course, being alongside some of the best in history, some of the greatest champions; meet a lot of people, grow as a man too, with all the glory and the mistakes I have made.
“It is difficult, and I never thought it would be so difficult to announce it, leaving my country, France, Ligue 1, a championship that I have always known, but I think I needed this: a new challenge after seven years.”
Romano’s claims come later L’Equipe reported on Friday that Mbappé will be presented as a new Real Madrid player on Monday, less than 48 hours after their Champions League final victory over Borussia Dortmund at Wembley.
Meanwhile, during a training session with France on Thursday, Mbappé met with fans and even signed one lucky guy’s Real Madrid shirt, a sure sign that this deal will be finalized shortly.
Earlier this week, it was also reported that the relation between PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaifi and the outgoing Mbappe remains strong, despite claims that a rift had emerged over the terms of his free agent departure.
Both club and player have previously stated that an agreement is in place that respects PSG’s huge investment in Mbappe’s development as a player since his £166m transfer from Monaco in 2017.
Mbappé is currently preparing for Euro 2024 with France, where he will be the team captain.
Mbappé won the French Cup in his last game for PSG, finishing his final season at the club with 44 goals in 48 appearances in all competitions.
The French star then hosted a farewell party for 250 guests in Paris, as his former PSG teammates said goodbye to him after seven years in their ranks.
Mbappé leaves as PSG’s all-time leading scorer, having scored 256 goals in 308 appearances over seven years in Paris.
