Kylian Mbappé celebrated in front of Vertonghen after the Belgian defender scored an own goal against France.

Didier Deschamps’ men secured their place in the quarter-finals of Euro 2024 with a 1-0 victory against the Red Devils.

Vertonghen was the unlucky player as he found the back of his own net with five minutes left on the clock.

And Mbappé rubbed salt into the former Tottenham defender’s wounds as he ran straight towards him and shouted words in the Belgian’s direction.

The former PSG star then received a stern warning from the referee and immediately protested.

The incident occurred minutes after Vertonghen accused Mbappé of diving and they faced off in the 71st minute.
