Senior police officer Andrew Murphy – known as Raptor 13 – threatened and abused two Muslim women
Radio shock Jock Kyle Sandilands described senior agent Raptor 13 as a & # 39; power-stripping idiot & # 39; in the air after sharing audio recordings of the no-nonsense agent who threatened and racially abused two Muslim women.
The co-host of KIIS FM told listeners that the footage of a traffic stop in Church Street, Parramatta, in western Sydney, exposed the actions of a man who & # 39; just hates people &.
The Law Enforcement Conduct Commission (LECC) released the footage last Friday with two officers persuading a driver, 24, and her stepmother for not properly indicating a roundabout.
One of those officers was later identified as senior agent Andrew Murphy, also known as Raptor 13, who has a reputation for his work in the bikie-busting Strike Force Raptor of NSW Police.
Sandilands was saddened by the footage that showed that one of the officers was a young hijab-wearing P-plate driver & # 39; the dumbest person & # 39; because he didn't stop immediately.
& # 39; Most police are pretty good, but this is filmed time and again as an idiot and a power tripper, & # 39; said Sandilands.
Kyle Sandilands (shown during the filming of his show, Trial by Kyle), described Raptor 13 as a & # 39; idiot & # 39; that Thursday people & # 39; hate & # 39;
& # 39; If you have to do that with bikies or are in bad situations because you are scared, then fine, but with a P-plater and her mother? They were clearly terrified. & # 39;
The images were shot on Raptor 13's own body camera and filmed him threatening to throw one of the women at the back of his paddy cart and accuse her of being an accessory for bloody murder.
Sandilands said: & # 39; the attitude is unnecessary & # 39 ;.
& # 39; This guy is a hater. He hates people. He threatens to put this girl in jail and puts her handcuffs on … thanks for protecting and serving. & # 39;
In the video, released by the police watchdog, the officers demanded that the women (photo) get out of the car because the passenger had no identification with them
One of the officers (not shown) threatened to take the driver to prison for a fight and said he would accuse her of being an & # 39; accessory for murder & # 39;
Last year, Sandilands criticized the officer because he & # 39; too seriously & # 39; was about his work after he had asked a technician to produce a permit for his exotic pet bird.
He and his co-host Jackie O told listeners that they are often bombarded with phone calls about Raptor 13, where Sandilands claim they & # 39; hundreds of callers & # 39; have handled.
Jackie O was just as shocked to see the images and said she would love to see Sandilands come up against the notorious cop.
& # 39; I could not, I would be arrested for conspiracy to murder, & # 39; he said.
Co-hosts Kyle and Jackie O (photo) were both troubled by the footage released last week
WHAT HAPPENED DURING THE TRAFFIC STOP WITH RAPTOR 13?
Pictured: senior agent Andrew Murphy, usually called Raptor 13
Senior police officer Andrew Murphy, better known as Raptor 13, and his partner pulled the female P-plate driver, 24, and her stepmother on April 20 in Parramatta.
Raptor 13 claims that he had noticed that the passenger was not wearing a seat belt and that he let go of the driver after she had stopped.
& # 39; You must be the stupidest person I have met as a driver of a motor vehicle with a police vehicle (following you) since Church Street to here, & # 39; he said.
The woman explained that she wasn't sure if the police were chasing her, but Murphy talked about her and demanded that they show proof of identity.
The driver said her stepmother & # 39; had just emigrated from abroad. We have requested her ID card, it did not arrive with us. & # 39;
Murphy then announced that he & # 39; would take her back to prison anyway & # 39 ;.
Murphy told the driver to get out of the car and instructed his partner to hit the cuffs on the driver.
& # 39; Don't argue with me about love or you'll be back in the paddy car as an accessory for bloody murder, & # 39; he said.
While Murphy went to get an item from his car, his police partner told the 24-year-old that she had to surrender her driver's license if she didn't know how to drive on Australian roads & # 39 ;.
The second officer then asked the woman to swear & # 39; with God & # 39; and & # 39; swear by Allah & # 39 ;.
The police eventually accused the young driver of driving with an unbridled passenger, negligent driving, disobedient police, non-compliance with driving license conditions and not reporting at a roundabout.
