Kyle Sandilands has taken offense to his co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson’s description of his new car as a ‘mum’s SUV’.
Ahead of Wednesday’s Kyle & Jackie O Show, the radio host, 52, was asked if he would keep his new Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 SUV or sell it after his co-star criticized the vehicle on Tuesday.
“I was thinking about that this morning,” Kyle said while speaking to the show’s team in the car park of the KIIS FM studios in Sydney.
“I don’t take Jackie’s fashion advice anyway,” he said before glancing pointedly at the black tracksuit he was wearing.
‘Why would there be?’ she added.

The video then showed Jackie making the comments about his car on the previous day’s show.
“I saw you in traffic in that car…I looked at you in it and it looked like you were driving some mom’s SUV,” the radio star said in a cut.
It didn’t seem fantastic at all. “I was like “wow,” she added.

The video then showed Jackie making comments about his car on the show. “I saw you in traffic in that car… I looked at you in it and it looked like you were driving some mom’s SUV,” the radio star said in a cut. It didn’t seem fantastic at all. “I was like “wow,” she added.
The video then cut back to Kyle in the parking lot and he was asked, “So, it’s not a mom’s SUV?”
Kyle then caressed the undercarriage of his black Mercedes and stated that a mother “couldn’t handle this.”
His new vehicle, which Kyle purchased earlier this year, is the $464,000 Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 4MATIC, which features a 3,982 cc engine and 410 kW of power.
“Regardless of whether it makes me look like a soccer mom, it now makes me drive like a soccer mom,” Kyle later admitted.
He recently revealed on air that he had traded in his previous car, a Bentley, for the new vehicle after a headlight went out on the previous model.
The video then cut back to Kyle in the parking lot and he was asked, “So, it’s not a mom’s SUV?” Kyle then caressed the undercarriage of his black Mercedes and stated that a mother “couldn’t handle this.”
Kyle’s fans had a variety of responses in the comments to the Instagram video.
‘I have the same car and I’m sorry, Kyle, I’m a mom. “You look like you should be behind me in the school drop-off line when you go out for coffee with your friends,” one fan wrote.
“This single mom would love to drive, I’ll take it off your hands Kyle,” wrote another.
“I agree with Jackie, I’m sorry,” someone else said.

‘It’s a Maybach, keep that!’ said another follower, while one more said ‘Keep going! Jackie is reacting too much! The car is great, Kyle looks amazing in it!’
Maybach is a German luxury car brand that was first founded in 1909 and is now part of Mercedes-Benz AG after the companies merged in 2015.
Kyle is known for his taste in luxury vehicles and often shows off his extensive car collection to his fans on social media.
He has been seen driving various glamorous vehicles over the years and showing off his success.
Last year, Kyle added a new $250,000 Cadillac Escalade Platinum to his collection when he was spotted driving the vehicle over the summer.
Its fleet also includes a Rolls Royce, Bentley, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Mercedes, Range Rover and has now added a Cadillac Escalade Platinum.
