So far on Married At First Sight, Bryce has humiliated Melissa for her physical appearance, showing little respect for her feelings during arguments, and admitting that she ‘hooked up’ with a girl just two months before going to MAFS.

Many viewers turn their frustrations on producers and wonder why they let such a toxic relationship play out on screens.

Tweets poured in last week, after Melissa told pundits she was ‘scared’ and ‘scared’ about rocking the boat in her relationship – even though Bryce had treated her with disrespect several times.

Gogglebox star Yvie Jones led the backlash against producers, who claimed she found Melissa’s words “ disturbing ” and felt producers should step in.

‘Where is the duty of care of producers to put her in that position at all? And if pap shots add up, they’re still together, ‘she tweeted.
