Kyle Richards was “terrified” to talk about her “evolving sexuality” during a serious conversation she had with her four daughters “months ago” amid rumors that she has been quietly dating her best friend since 2022, Morgan Wade.
‘It was the hardest conversation I’ve ever had with my children and I was terrified to have that conversation. I just wanted to be as honest as possible,” the RHOBH star, 55, recalled on Page Six Podcast Virtual Reali-Tea on Mondays.
‘There were stories about me and this made me wonder, you know, and question myself. I never really thought like that before. This is not the way I was raised. My mind didn’t even work that way. And suddenly I was thinking like that and I wanted to be as honest as possible with them because they are my best friends.’
Kyle was a mother to Farrah Aldjufrie, 36, with her ex-husband Guraish Aldjufrie and welcomed three more: Alexia Umansky, 28; Sofia Umansky, 24 years old; and Portia Umansky, 15; – with her second husband, from whom she is separated, Mauricio Umansky.
“Having that conversation, her reaction and her response to me, I honestly thought, ‘Wow, I mean, I’m so impressed by these four women in front of me,'” Richards gushed.

The RHOBH star, 55, recalled on the Page Six podcast: “It was the hardest conversation I’ve ever had with my kids and I was terrified to have that conversation.”
“And I thought, ‘Maybe, just maybe, I did a good job,’ because that was my proudest moment as a mom, just seeing how everyone reacted.”
The former child star noted that “the jokes have continued” since their family argument: “Some of them have made fun of me too, which is fine.” But it’s been great and it’s also been amazing for our relationship.”
Kyle and the 29-year-old country singer, who share matching rings and heart tattoos, were last photographed together taking a casual stroll in Los Angeles on September 16.
Richards emphasized that Morgan “didn’t want anything to do with my role on reality television and everything that comes with it.”
“I’m an open book, but I can’t speak to other people’s life experiences when they haven’t signed up to do this and don’t want to be a part of it,” the Holiday Exchange actress explained.
‘So I’m here to talk about my personal journey. But yeah, that wasn’t great, you know, having all that, it was so overwhelming. “I think anyone would feel overwhelmed in that situation.”
Eyebrows were first raised when Wade cast Kyle in his fantastic music video for Fall in Love with Me in August 2023, where they kissed, fed, and took a bubble bath.
Just two months later, Kyle legally separated from the 54-year-old real estate mogul after 27 years of marriage, and is now dating Russian actress Nikita Khan, 33.
