A testy Kurt Russell was seen shouting at his fans as he stopped to sign autographs at an event in North Hollywood last weekend, DailyMail.com can reveal.

The actor, 73, attended the Television Academy’s FYC event to watch his hit Apple TV+ series Monarch: Legacy of Monsters on Saturday night, where he was later filmed throwing a fit and even throwing his pen after enthusiastic autograph seekers attempted to double-dip.

Video of the awkward incident, obtained by DailyMail.com, shows the Hollywood star hurriedly signing signs for a crowd of eager fans who had gathered outside the Wolf Theater hoping to meet the cast after the event.

But what begins as a friendly meeting with his fans quickly turns into an icy encounter when Russell loses his cool with fans who try to steal a second autograph.

A clip taken by a witness in the crowd shows the moment Russell, who plays the lead role of Lee Shaw in the sci-fi series, catches some fans in the act and quickly calls them out.

‘I already did it to you, and I already did it to you,’ he says, visibly irritated. ‘Don’t do that, man. Look, you’re going to ruin it for everyone.

He then addresses the crowd as a whole and says, “I just want you to leave now.” I asked you. I’ll just sign one thing and give everyone one thing.’

Despite his frustration, Russell continues to sign, but appears to become irritated with the overwhelming number of autograph requests.

He then begins to look for familiar faces in the crowd; at one point, he even drops his pen and refuses to sign a sign upon encountering another double dipper.

“Let me see your face,” he tells a fan. “I already did it to you,” she says, before dramatically closing her pen and moving on to the next person.

A witness who was in the crowd told DailyMail.com that Russell had become irritated despite offering to sign autographs.

“Some people were trying to double-dip and he would get mad at everyone who tried even though he kept asking over and over again,” the fan said.

Russell, who was revealed to have joined the cast of the new Apple TV+ show in 2022, stars in the series alongside his son Wyatt Russell, 37.

The older actor plays the older version of his Wyatt character, former US Army Colonel Lee Shaw.

The live-action monster series, which was recently renewed for a second season, is the sixth installment in Legendary TV’s Monsterverse franchise starring Anna Sawai and Kiersey Clemons.

The show premiered in November to positive reviews and earned Kurt a Critics Choice Super Award for Best Actor in a Sci-Fi/Fantasy Series in April.
