‘It would be great!’ Kristin Davis is still hoping to make a third Sex and the City movie… even though Kim Cattrall says she’ll never get involved
Kim Cattrall’s worldly, independent Samantha Jones couldn’t be more different from the quintessential Charlotte York in Sex And The City.
And the actresses seem as divided as their personalities when it comes to the future of SATC, with Kristen revealing she’s eager to continue the franchise.
Speaking out after Kim claimed she would never make another movie, Kristen said she hoped the future cast would reunite to direct a third.

The 52-year-old told E! The news: “Maybe we’ll figure something out to do that, I don’t know, would be cool.”
Kristen believes it would be “sad” if a third film was not made because she believes the production is a “positive thing” that everyone can be involved in.
She added, “I just feel like it’s a positive thing all around. I’m sad we’re not doing the movie but at the same time, I love the support so much and I’m so thankful for that.
The star feels “grateful” her fans have supported her throughout her career, and Kristen is not only appreciated by her followers, but also “loved” by her co-stars.

She continued, “I am just grateful. I know my co-workers are also grateful that we have the support of the fans, that we have each other, and that we love each other.
The news comes shortly after Kim, 61, who portrays Samantha Jones on Sex And The City, claimed she had never been friends with her co-stars.
Speaking previously, she said, “We were never friends. We’ve been colleagues, and in some ways, it’s a very healthy place to be.
I don’t see them. The common ground between us was the series and the series ended.

However, Christine believes there are still some plot lines that could be left out of the series and believes the story is “not finished”.
Speaking previously, she said, “The whole journey of Sex And The City has been one surprise after another. We never thought we would really be this successful. We didn’t think we were going to win an Emmy, and we didn’t think we were going to win one movie, let alone another.
Inside I feel like we’re not done. I feel like there is another story. I’ll be up for whatever Sarah Jessica and Michael Patrick King think is the right thing.
