Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper hosted the event, and Cohen received some recorded New Year’s resolutions from his guests on his Bravo talk show Watch What Happens Live.

Chenoweth, 56, who recently opened up about how her husband Josh Bryant courted her, appeared on WWHL last month, and while her resolution wasn’t shown on air, Cohen did show it on the CNN broadcast.

“My New Year’s resolution is not to do coke anymore,” he said… before frantically correcting himself, clarifying that he meant “Coke!” and not cocaine.

The actress shared the video on her X and Instagram pages and said: “I had to embarrass myself on TV for the last time in 2024… HAPPY NEW YEAR!”

Chenoweth is best known for her portrayal of Glinda in the original Wicked Broadway musical, with Ariana Grande taking on the iconic role from the hit film adaptation.

Grande was just 10 years old when she met Chenoweth backstage during Wicked’s original Broadway run, and she revealed that she gave her “a little magic body wash” complete with a “little wand.”

‘I think it was magical because look where we are now!’ Grande told the outlet.

She explained that her grandmother had taken her to meet the show’s original cast members backstage in 2003.

“I loved it a lot,” he said of the musical. “My chemistry as a person changed permanently.”

Grande added that she thought about her life in “two chapters,” before and after watching Wicked.
