Kristin Cavallari revealed her 12-year-old son Camden’s face for the first time on social media this week.
The pre-teen, who is the oldest of her three children with ex-husband Jay Cutler, 41, made a cameo on Cavallari’s Instagram Story on Monday night.
In the clips, Camden is seen hanging out in the kitchen with his mother, 37, as she makes pumpkin spice syrup on the stove in their Tennessee home.
Since becoming a mother in 2012, Cavallari has protected the privacy of her three children by hiding their faces in all of her social media posts.
She did this by taking photos of Camden and his younger siblings, Jaxon, 10, and Saylor, eight, from behind or covering their faces with emojis or objects.

The preteen made a cameo on Cavallari’s Instagram Story on Monday night.
Because of this, many of Cavallari’s fans assumed she had posted her eldest son by mistake on Monday.
To alert her, fans flooded Cavallari’s inbox with messages.
While she “appreciated” her followers’ concern, she confirmed in a later video on IG Story that the reveal of Camden’s face was done on purpose.
“I appreciate everyone DMing me telling me I showed Camden’s face. I know,” The Hills alum began.
She said Camden wants to appear on social media in the future and feels he is old enough to make that decision for himself.
“He’s a little older now and wants to be on social media, which is the only reason I showed it,” Cavallari explained.
‘The only reason I haven’t shown it to my kids is because I wanted to give them the option when they were older.
“And he’s 12 going on 28, so he’s mature enough to make that decision now. But I appreciate everyone letting me know,” she concluded.
Last month, Cavallari paid tribute to Camden on his 12th birthday, which coincided with his first game as the starting quarterback for his youth football team.
Camden’s father, Jay, who split from Cavallari in 2020 after seven years of marriage, is a former star NFL quarterback who previously played for the Denver Broncos and Chicago Bears.
To honor the milestone, Cavallari included a photo of her hugging Cam in his helmet and football uniform after playing the big game.
Camden isn’t the only one of Cavallari’s children who has recently caught the social media bug.

“He’s a little bit older now and wants to be on social media, that’s the only reason I showed him,” Cavallari explained.
Last month, she told PEOPLE Jaxon, 10, is inspired by the videos she and her TikTok star boyfriend, Mark Estes, 24, make regularly.
Mark, who has been dating Cavallari since February 2024, is part of the popular TikTok group, Montana Boyz.
The group, which primarily includes Estes and his friends Kaleb Campbell Winterburn and Kade Wilcox, is known for highlighting their cool cowboy lifestyle on TikTok.
“The other night I was making dinner and Jaxon was sitting at the kitchen counter with Mark looking at the Montana Boyz TikTok, like, ‘Oh, what were you doing here? Whose idea was this?’ He just wanted to know the whole story about all of them,” Cavallari recalled to the outlet.
She said it was ‘quite funny’ to see her youngest son take such an interest in what’s going on in every social media post.
Although she became a household name on MTV’s Laguna Beach and The Hills in the early 2000s, Cavallari has also found success as an influencer.
She has nearly 5 million followers on Instagram and often posts about her style, her life as a single mother, and new releases from her jewelry line Uncommon James.

Last month, Cavallari revealed to PEOPLE that her youngest son, Jaxon, 10, has taken an interest in the videos and posts of her TikTok star boyfriend, Mark Estes (pictured with Cavallari).
The couple made their age-gap romance Instagram official earlier this year, when she shared a photo of them vacationing together in Los Cabos, Mexico.
Following the heartbreaking release, a source shared with Us Weekly that Kristin’s friends believe she and Mark have a “genuine” bond.
“After seeing them together, they realize that Kristin and Mark have a genuine connection, and they see how happy he makes her,” the source said.
