Kristin Cavallari admitted she was brought to tears after watching her 12-year-old son Camden take a brutal hit during his first soccer game.
Cavallari is the ex-wife of former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler, who played in the NFL for 12 seasons.
Cutler played for the Denver Broncos, Chicago Bears and Miami Dolphins, earning a spot in the Pro Bowl in 2008.
Cavallari and Cutler have three children together, but she revealed Tuesday how emotional she was seeing 12-year-old Camden on the field.
In August, Cavallari celebrated his son’s 12th birthday and his first game as the starting quarterback for his youth football team by posting a photo of her hugging Cam wearing his soccer uniform.

In August, Cavallari celebrated his son’s 12th birthday and his first game as a starting quarterback.
Speaking on her podcast ‘Let’s Be Honest’, Cavallari admitted she cried the night before that game because of the prospect of her son playing against opponents who were “6’3″ or taller”.
She went on to reveal that Camden took some ‘really hard hits’ on the pitch that left her in tears as she watched.
She said: ‘He was hit, he flew out and fell very hard.
“I knew, as a mother, how scared he was after that first blow. And that’s what screwed me up the most. Oh my God, I really thought I was over all of this.
Cavallari revealed her 12-year-old son Camden’s face for the first time on social media recently.

“The thought of him being scared out there breaks me. It breaks me completely.
‘More than the physical aspect, obviously, physically I don’t want him to get hurt, and then they hit him a couple more times. And that was honestly one of the hardest things I had to go through. It’s really hard to see your baby get hit.
“Your children are literally little pieces of your heart, literally, out there in the world, taking shit, physical blows, all that stuff. And all we want to do as mothers is protect our babies.
“The other side of the coin is that when he plays really well and scores a touchdown and all that, it’s the best feeling in the world and you’re really happy for him.”
