Kristin Cavallari’s ex Mark Estes was shocked by her decision to end their seven-month relationship and pleaded with the mother of three to reconsider.
Cavallari, 37, held back tears as he confirmed in a candid interview on his podcast: let’s be honestwho had broken up with the Montana Boyz star, 24, last week, before claiming that one day he will “thank her”.
Now, sources have said that Mark was unhappy with the decision, unlike some close to Cavallari who had always had reservations about the TikTok influencer.
“It was Kristin who pulled the plug on this and although Mark didn’t agree, he doesn’t really have a choice,” the source told DailyMail.com exclusively.

The source explained that Kristin’s certainty that she did not want to have more children was the reason for her decision.
“Kristin no longer has children,” they said. ‘She loves being a mother but she doesn’t want to go through that again.
“Mark wants to have a family and kids and that’s why she said he would ‘thank you’ because he will.”
Kristin had explained on her podcast: “He’s going to make someone so happy one day… and he’ll have a beautiful family of his own.”
“I know that one day he will look back and understand, and in fact I think one day he will look back and thank me.”
The source reiterated that infidelity had not played a role in the breakup, adding that their brief romance “showed Kristin how beautiful she was” and “restored the confidence she lost after her divorce with Jay.”
Speaking about Mark on her podcast, Kristin had insisted that the young social media star had been her best boyfriend since her divorce from former NFL star Jay Cutler.
