Kristen Wiig returns to her roots for a brand partnership that ends all endorsement deals.
The Saturday Night Live alum, 50, reprized her comedy character, Target Lady, for a new ad the superstore debuted Tuesday for its Target Circle Week.
‘HOLD YOUR CHARTS! Target Lady is back for #TargetCircleWeek, 4/7-4/13,” the company wrote on instagram with an advance. “Set your alarms and get ready to save with thousands of offers automatically.”
The clip begins with a close-up of Wiig waking up to her cuckoo clock, which sports a matching bowl cut.
Kristen Wiig reprized her comedy character, Target Lady, for a new ad the hypermarket debuted Tuesday for its Target Circle Week.
She created Target Lady on SNL during its debut season in 2005 after including the character on her audition tape.
Wiig takes off her red Target mask before putting on her Target sneakers.
Then he gets on the conveyor belt at home, which serves as his treadmill.
The comedian puts on her mom jeans and pulls out one of dozens of identical red vests from her closet before touching up her colorless lipstick and bowl cut.
Wiig then buys some breakfast at her home store and sits down to eat with her cardboard cutout coworkers.
He grabs his keys and then crawls into a hole in his garage wall, hiding behind a Target sign.
Target Circle Week will begin after Wiig returns to her alma mater SNL for a hosting gig on April 6 with musical guest Raye.
Wiig will also join the Five Timers Club with her next appearance, marking her fifth time hosting the show.

Target Lady is an overzealous employee of the chain who is known for annoying her customers and running off in search of an item that suddenly catches her eye.
After her seven-season tenure ended in 2012, Wiig went on to star in films such as Ghostbusters (2016), Downsizing (2017), and Wonder Woman 1984 (2020).
In 2020, she married comedian Avi Rothman after four years of dating.
That same year, they welcomed their twin daughters, Shiloh and Luna, through a surrogate.
Wiig can currently be seen starring in Apple TV+’s Palm Royale, with new episodes airing on Wednesdays.
