Kristen Bell stepped out in two different looks on Tuesday while promoting her upcoming Netflix romantic comedy Nobody Wants This in New York City.

Kristen Bell wore a fitted black and ivory off-the-shoulder Posse gown, designed by Nicole Chavez, in New York City on Tuesday.

It was one of two different looks the Forgetting Sarah Marshall star, 44, sported while promoting her upcoming Netflix rom-com Nobody Wants This.

Appearing in CBS Mornings Speaking about her new series, which premieres Sept. 24 and co-stars Adam Brody, Kristen referred to romantic comedies as “happy entertainment,” adding that they are “something to look forward to and you feel a sense of joy and love when you watch them.”

But fans were left divided after Netflix shared a trailer for the show, with viewers taking to social media platform X to strongly voice their opinions.

One person criticized: “It would be hard to find a better title than ‘Nobody Wants This’ to describe a Netflix series filled with so many embarrassing Jewish stereotypes.”

Another chimed in: “Netflix, we miss the old you,” with a sad face emoji.

Someone else added: “I got bored 20 seconds into the trailer… Can’t wait to never watch this,” while another said: “Thanks for putting the whole show in the trailer so I don’t have to watch it.”

And one angry subscriber demanded: “STOP CANCELLING REALLY GOOD SHOWS!!! #deadboysdetectives.”

Others expressed their enthusiasm for the show, with one saying: “Welcome back, old style rom-com,” adding that he was a fan of “Adam Brody with a beard.”

There was someone who approved it: “Ok, this looks nice.”

Another satisfied Netflix viewer said: “All my dreams from the early 2000s came true.”

With her two-tone long-sleeved dress, Bell added dangling earrings from Tiffany & Co.

And for her elegant and delicate look, the Hollywood siren wore a pair of black leather heels by By Far.

Bell, who also served as an executive producer on the series, plays Joanne, a feisty woman who falls for Brody’s charming character, Noah.

A synopsis for the show reads: “He’s stuck in his ways and used to playing it safe. He begins to stumble when he meets a brutally honest and provocative Joanne, which completely upends his safe life plan.”
