Krispy Kreme Australia is going to be giving away 100,000 free donuts to hungry customers, but you’ll have to be quick.
Foodies can head to a Krispy Kreme store on Friday, June 2 to claim a free donut in New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Queensland and Western Australia to celebrate National Donut Day — and there’s no catch .
Diners are encouraged to plan their day in advance, as Krispy Kreme revealed that more than 8,000 people rushed to their local Krispy Kreme between 4 and 5 p.m. to claim their free original glazed treat, resulting in long lines.
“National Donut Day is our most popular event of the year,” said Aimee Cutajar, head of marketing at Krispy Kreme ANZ.
“Our beloved original glazed donuts are made fresh daily and all of our store associates roll up their sleeves in preparation for a busy day ahead.”

“We love to share joy with our fans and thank them for their support. Nothing says National Donut Day like a free treat,” Cutajar added.
But their special offer doesn’t stop at donut day — Krispy Kreme is also offering eagle-eyed customers a free original glazed treat until July 10 when foodies see the Hot Light burning at a participating store.
“Whenever Krispy Kreme’s Hot Light is on, it means the fluffy donuts are rolling down the production line, glistening through the icing waterfall and going fresh and hot straight into your box,” a spokesperson said.
All Krispy Kreme donuts are made and delivered fresh daily, but life isn’t complete if you haven’t tried a hot donut straight off the production line.
“It tastes like a lovely warm cloud, light in texture and melts in your mouth.”
