Kris Jenner is still struggling to come to terms with Caitlyn Jenner’s transition eight years later — and it feels like her ex has passed away, a source claims.
During a recent interview on British daytime program This Morning, Caitlyn, 73, revealed the “sad” truth that she no longer has anything to do with the famous mom, 67, despite being married for 22 years and sharing daughters Kendall, 27, and Kylie, 26.
While the Olympic gold medalist’s comments are said to have caused “some family drama” between the Kardashian-Jenner clan, a source close to the couple has shed light on her reasons for their disagreement, claiming the exes have nothing in common anymore. out of a lack of desire to ‘fix’ their broken relationship.
The insider added exclusively to DailyMail.com that Kris believes Caitlyn is a “completely different person” to the one she married in 1991 and that despite once sharing a life together, they would now struggle to have a conversation without it becoming uncomfortable.
Kris Jenner would still be dealing with Caitlyn Jenner’s transition eight years later

“The main issue between Caitlyn and Kris is baggage,” the insider claimed. “As difficult as Bruce was, Caitlyn seems to be even more of a loose cannon, and that’s mainly because Caitlyn is her true self and there isn’t much left within Caitlyn of the Bruce that Kris knew and loved.
‘Kris is still trying to deal with the transition. A man she fell in love with and had children is no longer there, it’s like he’s dead, and she already has a dead husband to deal with and all those emotions, it’s easier to break away from them than each other to meet it head-on.
“Caitlyn is a completely different person. Their children are also older and now adults, so they don’t really have to talk to each other anymore.
“Everyone has their own life and does their own thing, so it’s rare for everyone to get together or talk, it’s just more of a hassle than anything.”
The insider continued, “It’s gotten to the point where they really don’t have anything to talk about anymore. If they were having lunch together or something, they’d probably just talk about the weather, otherwise it would be as awkward as standing in an elevator with a group of people and everyone avoiding eye contact.
“This is the life they both choose, and it won’t change. They only really interact with each other when they have to, they don’t go out of their way to solve it.’
Kris’s first marriage was to lawyer Robert Kardashian, with whom she has daughters Kourtney, 44, Kim, 42, Khloé, 39, and son Rob, 36.
They divorced in March 1991, but remained close friends until his death from esophageal cancer in 2003.

Kris then married Bruce, now Caitlyn, in 1991, with the former couple enjoying 22 years together before divorcing in December 2014.
Caitlyn came out as a transgender woman in April 2015, with a cover spread in Vanity Fair telling readers to “Call me Caitlyn.”
Caitlyn said on This Morning ahead of the release of her three-part tell-all series House Of Kardashian that her relationship with Kris was non-existent.
“Well, Kris, I never really talk to that anymore,” she said. ‘Yes, it’s sad.
“If there is any communication, my manager talks to her and when you have as many children as I do, you are closer to some than others… I definitely see them, and we do this and that.
“I’m a lot closer to the Jenner side, but Kris, I don’t really keep in touch with her anymore. It’s a little sad because we’ve been through a lot.”
Caitlyn went on to recall her first meeting with Kris: “I was single for six years and really struggling with myself and who I was and how I fit into the world.
‘I had just turned forty and met Kris on a blind date, we hit it off from day one. Was it love at first sight? Pretty close to that, yes.

‘I was totally in awe of her and the way she lived her life – she had four children, I had four children… and we got married five and a half months later! It happened very quickly.’
Her new documentary series will feature unseen archival footage and first-hand testimony from the family’s inner circle.
As one of the most famous families in the world, the program, produced by 72 Films, explores their family dynamics, scandals, controversial business deals and personal struggles.
Tensions between the exes first arose in 2017, when the newly transformed Caitlyn came out with her memoir, The Secrets Of My Life, which contained a warts-and-all portrayal of Kris and their marriage.
“I tell Kris about my gender issues before I have sex with her,” Caitlyn insisted in the book, despite Kris publicly denying some of the claims.
“This will always be a topic of discussion between Kris and I about the extent to which she might intuitively think about my gender issues. She insists she was surprised by my eventual transition to Caitlyn,” the author continued.
“I told her I had dressed like a woman, and she knew I did because I did it in front of her several times after we got married.”
