Kris Jenner revealed some potentially scary medical news on this week’s episode of The Kardashians, telling her family that she needed to have both of her ovaries removed.
The Kardashian-Jenner matriarch, 68, was wrapping up a ski trip to Aspen with most of her family, though Kylie Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian — still recovering from giving birth to baby Rocky — and Rob Kardashian were not there.
They were playing their game of “peaks and valleys,” where each reveals to the other the high and low points of the journey.
Kris says, “My best moment was just being here with you all and the worst thing is the rest of the family isn’t here,” before turning serious.
“I wanted to tell you something because I haven’t told you yet but… you know, I went to the doctor and they did an ultrasound… they found… and this makes me very emotional, but… they found a cyst and like a small tumor on my ovary,” Kris revealed through tears.

“I wanted to tell you something because I haven’t told you yet but… you know, I went to the doctor and they did an ultrasound… they found… and this makes me very emotional, but… they found a cyst and like a small tumor on my ovary,” Kris revealed through tears.
She added: “I went to the doctor and Dr A told me I had to have my ovaries removed. I’m so excited because they were so helpful.”
Kris adds in confession: “I feel emotional about it because that’s where all of my children were conceived and that’s where they grew, in my womb, and that’s a very sacred place to me.”
Khloe says Kourtney is calling and asks Kris if she wants to tell her now too, as she connects to the video call and Kris says, “She’s still using hers.”
“Mom was telling us something about her health,” Kourtney says, “My health?” Khloe corrects herself and says, “Her health. Do you want to hear it?”
“Oh yeah, I’m here with my four kids, is that okay?” Kourtney asks as Kris replies, “Yeah, I’m having a little surgery because I have a tumor on my ovary, so they’re going to remove it.”
“Get my ovaries removed?” Kourtney asks, and Kris says, “But it’s just, you know, the emotional part for me is just having them removed.”
“Having surgery and having your ovaries removed is a big deal. I feel so sad for her, you know? I couldn’t even imagine being in that situation and how scared I would be to go through that,” Kim said.
Kris adds at the table, “If I can get through hip replacement surgery, I can get through this. I’m not even… I’m not nervous about being put to sleep, I’m not nervous about Dr. A. She’s the best doctor in the world, but then you get to do it and it’s so real.”

Kris adds in confession: “I’m excited because that’s where all of my children were conceived and that’s where they grew in my belly, and that’s a very sacred place to me.”
“Get my ovaries removed?” Kourtney asks, and Kris nods, adding, “But it’s just, you know, the emotional part for me is just having it removed.”
Kourtney says over the phone, “I would feel the same way,” adding in confession, “I mean, I totally understand how my mom feels because I would feel the same way. It’s like your girl power, and it doesn’t mean you take away, you know, who she is or what she’s experienced, but I would feel this sentimental feeling about what she’s created.”
Kris says through tears: “It’s also a thing of getting older and it’s like a sign that we’re done with a part of your life, it’s a whole chapter that just closes,” while Khloe says: “Oh my gosh.”
Kendall adds in a confessional statement: “I understand their emotion. I understand that it’s sad because they brought all their children into the world, which is totally fair, but at the same time, what are we going to use them for anymore? If they’re potentially hurting you, let’s get them out of there.”
Kris adds through tears, “It’s so sad,” as Kim hugs her and says, “You’re going to be okay,” while Kris says, “It’s the dumbest thing, but I love you guys and I just wanted you to know that.”
Kim says, “Should we have a farewell party for ovaries? And we should eat everything that is shaped like…”, while bursting out laughing.
Corey says, “Kourtney, you have to be there,” as Kourtney responds on the phone, “I’ll be there. Well, I love you and I miss you,” as they disconnect the call.
