Kourtney Kardashian poked fun at the infamous moment her sister Kim Kardashian lost her $75,000 diamond in the ocean on an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
The 44-year-old reality star took to Instagram on Sunday to share new bikini beach photos with her 224 million followers, posing in clear, open blue waters.
Quoting her younger sister, 43, in the 2011 season six episode, Kourtney wrote in the caption, “My diamond earring fell into the ocean and disappeared.”
Mom Kris Jenner got in on the joke when she, along with many of her daughter’s followers, quoted Kourtney’s famous response, writing, “Kourtney, people are dying…”
So far, the comment has garnered more than 10,000 likes from Kardashian fans familiar with the incident.

Kim was devastated when she lost the expensive piece of jewelery before it was found a short time later.
The snaps showed a busty Kourtney in a black two-piece swimsuit that included a classic triangle top with thin spaghetti straps.
The firstborn of the Kardashian-Jenner clan showed her big smile in the photos without makeup.
The water was above his waist and his dark hair was combed back, wet from being submerged in the water.
And a pair of black sunglasses were perched atop her head in the two snaps uploaded to her Instagram grid.
She shared the post to her Stories and added a thoughtful message for new mothers.
‘Dear new moms: Your body is beautiful in all stages. During pregnancy, when we glow and grow, in the postpartum, when we heal and shrink, and then I find that period more difficult, as our bodies are still adapting,” she wrote.
It comes five months after the POOSH founder welcomed her fourth child, her first with husband Travis Barker, son Rocky, 13.
He added: “If you’re breastfeeding, that’s another part.” “I’m trying to be kind to myself while my body finds a new normal.”

The stars lounged on the sand, modeling SKIMS swimsuits while Kourtney lounged on a couch.
