Kourtney Kardashian revealed her terrifying incident in Australia and why she would never move Down Under in the latest episode of her family’s hit reality show.

The 45-year-old American reality TV star and husband Travis Barker’s family adventure to Australia is currently playing out on The Kardashians, giving fans a candid look at their trip to the country.

Kourtney and Travis arrived Down Under in February with their children Penelope, 11, and Reign, nine (whom she shares with ex Scott Disick) and baby Rocky, who was three months old at the time.

Kourtney’s eldest son Mason, 14, stayed in the US with his father Scott, and the media personality admitted she was “really sad” that he didn’t decide to join them.

Documenting the trip, the penultimate episode of the Hulu show’s fifth season followed the family as they explored Sydney’s tourist hotspots, including Bondi Beach and Luna Park.

But Kourtney said it hadn’t all been rosy and admitted the worst thing about Australia was the huge spiders, saying that was the only reason she wouldn’t be moving Down Under.

Images appeared on the screen showing a huge spider running across a wall as Kourtney said in her confession: “The only reason I could never move to Australia is because of spiders.”

“It’s just terrifying and it’s not the way I want to live my life,” she added.

Kourtney also told her kids and the family’s nanny, Allie Garcia, that she had been nervously looking for spiders “everywhere” during the big trip Down Under.

And he encountered more than one, even trapping a huge huntsman spider (which is not generally considered dangerous) under glass in his luxury $10,000-a-night Sydney pad, before sneaking it out of the mansion.

However, despite her encounters with arachnids, Kourtney confessed that she and her children had loved spending time in Australia.

“We had a blast,” Kourtney said after landing to join Travis Down Under for his band Blink-182’s Australian tour.

‘Travis will be touring different cities in Australia for about a week, but because I was on bed rest before and then had a newborn at home, I haven’t really been able to get out with my other kids, so I really wanted to stay in Sydney.’

On The Kardashians, Kourtney and her kids were spotted playing tennis, feeding horses, eating ice cream on the beach and enjoying meals out as they made the most of their time Down Under.

Reign admitted that his favourite part of Australia was the ice cream, while Penelope said of the trip: “Going to the beach (was my highlight) and the worst thing was there was like a shark attack so I don’t want to go in the water.”

However, a brave Reign replied: ‘Hey, who cares, one person is going to get bitten, I’ll take the risk.’

The family also enjoyed a luxurious day out on a yacht with Travis’ bandmate Mark Hoppus and his wife Skye, before taking on the famous rollercoasters at Luna Park.

“I think these are the scariest trips Reign has ever been on,” Kourtney confessed. “It’s so weird to be able to spend two whole weeks with my kids 24/7 because of school and because they’re with their friends.”

Kourtney explained that she had hired a nanny to look after baby Rocky while they were in Australia so she could enjoy sightseeing with her older children.

Kourtney and Travis looked as loved up as ever on the trip as they showed off their affection in public during a scene after the drummer returned to Sydney after touring with Blink-182.

“We haven’t been using a nanny or babysitter with Rocky at all, but now that we’re in Australia, it was important that we bring someone so we could get out of the house and hang out with the other kids and go on adventures with them,” she explained.

‘So I really schedule every adventure, for example, around her nap time and then I have a period of absence of about two and a half hours where I feel like I’m ready to return.’

“If I do leave the baby I want to be super present and make the most of it, and having this memory with my kids and Travis together is really special,” she said.

“This is the longest we haven’t seen each other since the baby was born,” she said of the nine days they were apart while Travis traveled to Melbourne to perform.

However, Reign wasn’t impressed with their displays of PDA and hilariously told them: “Stop making out with Travis, bro. Didn’t you just have a baby? Don’t have another one so soon.”

But Kourtney told the camera: “I think it’s beautiful to see parents, especially parents who just had a baby, be caring and loving. There’s nothing wrong with that.”

While exploring the sights of Sydney, Kourtney raved about the “perfect” vacation and shared how grateful she was to have been able to join Travis Down Under.

“Australia really couldn’t be more perfect so far, I’m so happy I decided to come,” she added.
