Fans will get an exclusive look at Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Parker’s lavish wedding in the new Hulu special Til Death Do Us Part Kourtney & Travis, which includes a somewhat surprising reveal.
While neither Parker, 47, nor Kardashian, 43 – who shared some fun Easter snaps over the weekend – aren’t particularly religious, both revealed they wanted to tie the knot in an Italian church.
After arriving in Portofino, Italy, they tour an ancient monastery, before meeting their huge wedding party for lunch.
The special — which features footage from the three weddings intercut with the couple discussing what happened in their home — revealed that their plan was to have a wedding similar to the popular 1991 Guns ‘n Roses music video, Rain Rain.
However, they soon had to abandon the idea of marrying in a church, though Domenico Dolce of Dolce & Gabbana ended up recreating a church for the couple at his lavish Portofino estate.

Domenico: However, they soon had to abandon the idea of marrying in a church, though Domenico Dolce of Dolce & Gabbana ended up recreating a chapel for the couple at his lavish Portofino estate
In the middle of the 72-minute Hulu special, Travis and Kourtney posed for photos with their kids inside a church, with Kourtney explaining that they originally wanted to get married in a church… like November’s Guns ‘n Roses music video Rain.
“If it had been our choice, we would have married in a Catholic church, and it would have made a lot of sense, since we were raised Catholic,” says Travis.
Courtney corrects him and says she was raised a Christian, with Travis saying he went to a Catholic school and Courtney adding that she went to Catholic high school.
“And then the church didn’t work out, especially because the Italian Catholic Church is very strict, and we needed really specific documents, or we had to take a one-year Catholic course,” Courtney explains at her home.
They leave the convent as Domenico and his team prepare the villa for the wedding in one day.
Courtney hugs Reverend Chad Fitch, to which Courtney adds that Domenico “offered to let us use their property and have our wedding there and have our wedding there.”
They, she explained, “had to do helicopter drops to get the piano in there, to build the whole thing,” showing several drops that lasted for days.
They’re going through the logistics of the wedding as Courtney adds, “One thing I’ve realized, working with Domenico, is what Domenico says, he just does. We gave a lot of church-like things, and they loved creating a church.”

The Choice: “If it had been our choice, we would have married in a Catholic church, and it would have made a lot of sense, because we were raised Catholic,” says Travis.
DOMENICO: They’re going through the logistics of the wedding as Courtney adds, “One thing I’ve realized, working with Domenico, is what Domenico says, he just does. We did a lot of church-like things, and they absolutely loved creating a church.”
“We left out a few details that I think you’d be surprised,” Kourtney said, as Travis added, “We just wanted to get married.” We didn’t really care about the details.
Courtney added, “I remember calling Melissa Caulker and planning it in 30 minutes and then calling you and talking to you about it, when everything else I was doing was so planned and detailed.” We delivered like feel and atmosphere, and really trusted Domenico to execute it. We just wanted it to feel authentic.
The couple and family go through rehearsals, with Travis adding that seeing the wedding party build every day, “the anticipation was greater.”
Courtney added that Pastor Chad Veitch and his wife Julia are “really good friends of ours and the church Travis and I went to before we were together is Chad and Julia’s church.” He dropped everything and was there for us, which was perfect.
Chad guides them through the ceremony, with Travis talking about talking about their wedding with their future kids… hinting that they haven’t completely given up on having kids yet.
When we talk about our wedding to our kids, we’re not going to be like, ‘Oh, we just got married in L.A. or we just got married in the desert or in San Francisco or Utah, it had to be Portofino.’ Travis said, as Kourtney added, ‘We want them to say that, It all came together so easily.”
While it’s unclear how much the lavish wedding ultimately cost, Courtney revealed that Domenico took care of everything for them, with the wedding taking place on his private property.
Portofino’s nuptials were Kourtney and Travis’ third in nearly two months, including an early April ceremony in Las Vegas and a Santa Barbara courthouse ceremony in mid-May, a week before Portofino’s.
