“Watching it all back has been really hard,” Sara, 29, told Daily Mail Australia on Wednesday.

The Sydney-based nutritionist admitted that reliving her experience has made her confront aspects of her behavior she’s not proud of.

‘It has made me feel really bad, especially for the way I have treated Tim. I have so many regrets… It’s like putting a mirror up to many of the things that I have to work on with myself and in relationships.’

The days after the cheating revelations were particularly grueling.

‘It was a super-emotional and stressful week’, she describes. The intensity of the experiment almost drove her to the edge.

“I was ready to just leave the experiment… I hadn’t had enough of everything that was going on and I knew that Tim and I wouldn’t be able to work on our relationship when everyone was down that.”

Despite the scandal, Sara and Tim, 31, had begun to rekindle their relationship.

“It felt really hard… we actually felt that spark again,” she reveals. But the weight of the situation was crushing.

‘Everybody hated me… my mental health was just completely shot to death.’

The toll on her well-being was compounded during Feedback Week, during a task that involved a relentless barrage of questions from Jayden Eynaud and his partner Eden Harper.

“No matter what I say, you’re not going to believe me,” she recalled at the time.

Reflecting on her actions, Sara expresses remorse and wishes she had handled things differently.

“If I could go back and do it differently, I would have told (Tim),” she asserts, acknowledging that her approach to the dinner party could have been more compassionate.

The public’s reaction has been another obstacle, one that even caught Sara off guard despite considering herself tough.

‘The reaction from the public has been crazy,’ she says, expressing understanding of viewers’ feelings.

Despite the negative portrayal, she seeks support from her loved ones and focuses on personal growth.

“It’s a shame that the show really shows me as this one-dimensional person,” she laments.

In the midst of the storm, Sara is committed to proving her naysayers wrong and fighting for her relationship with Tim.

Looking ahead, Sara was fortified by Tim’s support for the next dinner party.

“He wanted my back 100%,” she shares, grateful for their united front amid the ongoing drama.
