A pair of Knicks fans were seen fighting each other at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night while their team played the Raptors.
According to one X user who posted a clip of the incident, the fighting took place “about three minutes into the match,” although it did not specify why the violence started.
Nevertheless, the two fans – one dressed in tan and the other in black – exchanged punches for several seconds before nearby fans broke up.
A spokesperson for MSG Sports later told the newspaper New York Post that the “aggressor was immediately removed from the location following the altercation.”
“It is our top priority to provide a safe environment for our guests and as stated in our code of conduct, we do not tolerate violence of any kind in our venues,” the spokesperson continued.
It is not clear which fan was the aggressor in question.

Violence aside, it was a good night for Knicks fans as their team defeated Toronto 112-98.
OG Anunoby and Karl-Anthony Towns both led the team with 27 points in the win, while Josh Hart added 21, seven assists and 11 rebounds.
Jalen Brunson also scored 13 points, seven assists and six rebounds.
The win snapped a three-game losing streak for New York, which fell consecutively to the Thunder, Bulls and Magic.
The Knicks are still third in the Eastern Conference and moved to 25-13 on Wednesday.
