Kmart shoppers are raving about an affordable $20 ‘must have’ bag that has been compared to designer versions worth thousands of dollars.
Australians are surprised to discover the affordable Maya Canvas tote bag ($20) at Kmart, as many have spent years searching for an affordable copy of the Marcs Barbados Tote Bag ($109) and the Chloe Medium Woody bag ($1,700).
Shoppers have been spoiled for choice recently as the budget retailer launched high-end items at good prices.
Australians have already raved about Kmart’s $15 bottle of drink that’s “just like Frank Green” and an incredible $8 version of the cult $77 Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum cream.
“I have both this and the black version,” one fan revealed. ‘Awesome bag. It fits a lot of things. Women constantly compliment it and ask me where I got it from. I actually washed it in my machine on a gentle cycle and it turned out perfect too.

Many have also revealed that the large size helps them carry all their essentials with ease.
“I have my laptop and a lot more stuff and still have room for a drink bottle and more,” said one.
‘My daughters have the exact same one and used it as carry-on luggage recently on a trip to Bali. Great quality. Perfect size. Fits laptops, iPads and more. It’s time I got one!’ said a mother.

The Kmart bag also looks similar to the Chloe Medium Woody tote ($1,700)
Some have noted that while it is quite large, the bag may require an insert to give it more structure since it only comes with one internal pocket.

“I bought a bag insert online and it fits perfectly inside,” one shopper revealed alongside a photo. ‘Perfect bag, I use it every day.’
