A mom shared her amusing online shopping failure after a kitchen gadget she bought didn’t quite live up to her expectations. When her two-in-one pie and sausage sandwich maker arrived at her home, she quickly realized it was a children’s toy.

‘Something for your entertainment. I recently did an online store. I wondered if there was a sausage roll and pie maker,” she wrote in a Facebook group.

“When I typed it into the search bar, I was pleasantly surprised to find it was there and it was surprisingly cheap. I was so excited when my order arrived, then found out it was a toy. I hate my life.’

The woman said she did not pay attention to the details of the toy when she spontaneously added the product to her online order.

“Certainly, when it arrived, the first thing I noticed were the pies and sausage rolls, along with the beautiful color and ‘realistic lights and sounds,'” she explained.

Many thanked her for giving me something to laugh about, with one saying, This made my day. Sorry for not making fun of you… But this is what I would do.’

Another wrote: ‘Oh my god, that’s so funny. We all need a smile like that right now. It also feels like I would do exactly that.’

One added: “It’s the kind of thing that could happen to me.”

Some said she “won the best Internet disaster purchase of the year,” while others suggested she could gift the product to a child for Christmas.

“Score, you started your Christmas shopping early without meaning it,” one wrote.

And she wasn’t the only one to experience a shopping mistake after some moms revealed they know a few people who have made the same mistake with the toys.
