This isn’t the first time shoppers have noticed a hoax on Kmart shelves.
Earlier this month, fashionistas spotted the $2.50 version of Cartier’s diamond-encrusted bracelet—which ranges from $7,500 to $30,000.
The French luxury group sells a version in yellow gold and diamonds ($26,900) and white gold and diamonds ($28,800).
Kmart has launched affordable versions of both the items now in stores and online that come as a two-pack ($5) with a lobster strap chain bracelet.
However, the $2.50 bracelets have a hinge closure while the Cartier bracelets need to be secured to your wrist with a screwdriver.
