Kmart Australia Canvas Bucket Bag ($18)

A new Kmart Australia item is flying off the shelves after bargain hunters realised it is an “exact copy” of a high-end luxury handbag.

Shoppers are “obsessed” with the Canvas Bucket Bag ($18) and many say it “looks similar” to Spanish fashion brand Loewe’s Balloon Bag ($3,990).

Both bags have an off-white canvas base and brown leather details and straps.

The lace detail makes the accessory an interesting addition to any outfit.

Shoppers have shared rave reviews about the bag online.

“I actually prefer the Kmart one,” one woman said, while another added, “The Kmart version looks the best.”

Many moms are also choosing the Kmart bag for their daughters who are obsessed with the high-end version after seeing the bags go viral on social media.

Fashion trends can change in the blink of an eye, and Australian women have struggled to keep up with the latest purchases in the wake of the cost of living crisis.

Shoppers have gone wild for a $40 knockoff of a viral Kookai top that’s “perfect” year-round.

Cotton On also recently released a pair of affordable $70 heels that are an “exact replica” of the $200 Tony Bianco shoes, and have been dubbed “shoes of the season.”

Kmart also surprised shoppers with a $40 version of a $4,000 designer trench coat, and it goes with everything.

Thousands of people have chosen the Everlast Airstyer ($280) from Australian brand BondiBoost over the pricey Dyson Airwrap ($849) since its launch.

Hundreds of shoppers have shared their shock at the online scam.

“It’s beautiful… it’s exact,” said one.

“Kmart broke the bank this year,” joked one avid shopper.

“Oh my God! I’m leaving this weekend!” another promised.
