Kmart Australia shoppers stunned after discovering $12 copy of popular fashion t-shirt

Kmart Australia shoppers are stunned to discover a $12 copy of a popular fashion T-shirt.

The Oversized Striped T-shirt ($12) features orange, gray and navy stripes on a tan base.

It’s been compared to No Excess’s Multi-Stripe Crew Neck T-Shirt ($109.95) which has a similar print.

Men online have started the ‘cool boy’ trend ahead of summer, which sees them wearing oversized t-shirts, sunglasses and baggy blue jeans.

Kmart has recently been praised for its high-quality designer items, as shoppers on a budget can also participate in fashion trends.

From a $35 dress that flew off the shelves over the summer to a $15 copy of a $9,900 Balenciaga bag, shoppers have been “obsessed” with Kmart’s latest collections.

One man previously shared how Kmart helped him completely replace his wardrobe for $150, and thousands of people have joined in with their own success stories from the budget retailer.

“I received a $150 voucher for Christmas and desperately needed clothes because I was wearing them to death,” she said in a Reddit post. ‘Shout out to Kmart, the killer of the cost of living crisis.’

‘I found I could get five to six items at most retailers, but by choosing Kmart I was able to get more than double that. They are all comfortable and not entirely lacking in style.’

He ended up purchasing 13 items of clothing: six T-shirts, two tank tops, two pairs of shorts, one pair of pants, a short-sleeved shirt and a hat.

Several others also swear by Kmart clothing.

‘Kmart has good stuff at reasonable prices and I’m usually happy with the quality. Men’s t-shirts for five dollars have been a blessing,” said one of them.

“I buy my $7 jeans there and they are super comfortable,” wrote another.

‘It’s great for buying children’s clothes! My daughter is starting daycare soon, I bought her several outfits for $30, so if they get paint on them or break them, it won’t matter. The T-shirts were $3.50 each,” said one mother.

“I can’t count the number of times I’ve bought expensive shirts and pants and they’re so thin they don’t last a year, while my Kmart clothes from five years ago are still going strong,” said one man.

‘I had $12 black work pants that lasted me eight years. “I was so sad when it all finally fell apart last year,” added another.
