Kmart fans are rushing to stores to get their hands on an $8 version of a “cult” item created by a celebrity that sold out instantly around the world.
Kmart’s Lip Gloss iPhone Case bears a striking resemblance to Hailey Bieber’s $50 Rhodes Lip Case, which is an “it” fashion accessory.

“Um, okay Kmart…$8,” she captioned the clip, followed by a clasped hands emoji.
‘Literally, what doesn’t Kmart sell?’
The practical and “chic” design features an integrated lip gloss compartment that allows for easy touch-ups of lip color and moisture throughout the day.
The budget cases are made to fit the iPhone 12/12 Pro, 13/14 Pro and 11 models and come in brown, nude and pastel purple, and lip gloss is not included.

Kmart’s Lip Gloss Case for iPhone ($8) is almost identical to the Rhode’s Lip Case, Hailey Bieber’s cult skincare brand, which sells for $50 and has sold out multiple times.
Shoppers wasted no time coveting the new release and said they couldn’t wait to purchase it themselves, even congratulating Kmart for “working overtime.”
“My God, running now,” said one.
“It’s not a want, it’s a need,” added another.
But many were left devastated after discovering there were no pink or white cases, and that the popular new product didn’t fit the size or band of their phone.
“I’m crying until I’m 15,” said one.
The Kmart Value Case ($8) has a built-in lip compartment to hold the gloss and comes in a variety of sizes and colors, but it doesn’t fit all iPhone shapes, like the 15 and 15 Pro.
“I’m crying on my android,” another added.
One buyer advised people who couldn’t fit their phones into the inexpensive lip case to purchase the Lanolips add-on that attaches to cases of any size.
“It acts like a phone grip, you just stick it on,” he said.
This comes after Kmart surprised fans with the launch of its summer-inspired beauty range that smells just like a celebrity’s perfume.
The OXX Fragrance Summer Season Summer Solstice Body Mist ($8) is said to be almost identical to Ariana Grande’s Thank U Next perfume, which retails for up to $70.
The “stunning” scent has notes of cotton candy, vanilla and coconut and is also available in a body butter ($8).
“If you like Thank U Next by Ariana Grande, this is exactly what it smells like,” said one.
