Shoppers have discovered a $2 gadget from Kmart that can disinfect phones, smartwatches, car keys and jewelry in just five minutes.

Anna Faaloae, from Brisbane, shared her review on TikTok of the UV sterilizer case she bought in the clearance section of Kmart.

The UV disinfection light claims to target hard-to-reach areas and kill up to 99.9 percent of germs.

“Did you know that our phones are one of the biggest carriers of germs? It’s one of those things we forget to clean regularly,’ Anna said.

She said the “nice, small and compact” device was “quick” and “easy” to use.
