KitKat chocolatiers have teamed up with ice cream giant Peters to create a drumstick flavored chocolate bar – and fans claim it’s their best yet.
The playful collaboration is inspired by “sweet memories of summer” and was released in winter, just as warm weather nostalgia takes hold across Australia.
The new KitKat sees the iconic chocolate wafer dipped in a double dose of velvety vanilla and a rich caramel chocolate sauce with waffle cones, all encased in a thick layer of chocolate.
And it’s been described by chocolate lovers and ice cream fans alike as the best way to enjoy the taste of the iconic Aussie Drumstick without worrying about it “melting and turning into a mess”.
The coveted collaboration making the rounds in Australia comes in a long, slimmer block version as well as a thick bar version.
This collision of flavors from two popular classics is getting high ratings on social media, with fans describing it as “insane.”
Chocoholics who tried this surprising flavor for the first time had very good things to say about the new delight.
“That tastes just like the drumstick cone, I’m salivating wow, that just hit the brain.” “That’s the best KitKat I’ve ever had,” one fan said.

One fan who hadn’t tried the bar yet said: “Shut up and take my money, where will it be available?”
The chocolate is currently available in Woolworths and will be rolled out to other stores in Australia from the end of July.
