“They are the most beautiful children in every way. They are simply wonderful.”

While attending the premiere of his latest drama at The Metrograph Theater, Kit looked dapper in a navy suit and matching open-neck shirt.

The actor, who plays Henry Muck in the series, looked in good spirits as he posed with his co-stars Sagar Radia and Ken Leung.

Earlier this year, Kit said he and Rose had been more “hands-on” with her second pregnancy, while they took a more “romantic” view of parenthood when expecting their son.

He said Entertainment Tonight‘We’re very practical about this at the moment. Almost too practical, in fact.

“With our first child, there was a bit of a romance, so to speak, and with this one, we thought, ‘Okay, let’s have it. ‘ We know how efficient we have to be. Let’s get on with raising kids.”

“My mom says she doesn’t remember much about when we were kids or when we were parents, because you’re so present in everything. And I think that’s what children allow you to be, to be incredibly present in the moment, because you don’t have a choice.”

This comes after Kit slammed critics of his West End show Slave Play’s controversial “blacks only night”, calling the idea “an incredibly positive thing”.

The production at the Noel Coward Theatre came under fire earlier this year after it was announced it would run two performances aimed at an “exclusively black-identifying audience” and was “free from the white gaze”.

At the time, a spokesman for then-Prime Minister Rishi Sunak called the idea “concerning” and said the arts should be “inclusive and open to all”.

Kit appeared on the BBC show with Laura Kuenssberg on Sunday alongside co-star Olivia Washington and said: ‘First of all, if you’re white, nobody’s stopping you from buying a ticket, it’s not illegal to buy a ticket for that show, if you want to come.’

‘He’s saying ‘We’d rather the audience be this.’

‘Secondly, I’ve been going to the theatre since I was young, with my mother. I’ve only really known a predominantly white audience. It’s still a particularly white space. So to argue that “this is discriminatory to white people” seems vaguely strange and ridiculous to me.’
