The TV personality opened up about his graphic dreams in a social media post at 3 a.m. after one of the nightmares prevented him from sleeping.

Kirk said, “I keep reliving it when I found my father. I haven’t had that dream in a while, it normally comes back to me during the day, like flashbacks in the day.

“It’s so lively. The lights, the smell of the day, everything, I can imagine everything. But the dreams are normal that I lose all my family and lose myself. Like my family committing suicide or dying of cancer – I die.’

The TV star, who now runs a jet laundry service, reveals that he wakes up once or twice a night with nightmares and struggles with flashbacks during the day.

He said, ‘It is my journey, I must go on and not let it get to me. It’s hard when it hits you in your sleep, it gets in your head. But all I can do is keep going.

“I wake up because the nightmares I have are disgusting and mean. They’re just nightmares of my whole family dying of disease or committing suicide.’

Kirk said he has to get up at night and walk around the house if he has nightmares, but he can handle them better during the day.

“On the day with the flashbacks, it’s easier to forget them because you’re active,” he added.

“Your brain does other things during the day, so you can do something quickly, but in the middle of the night it’s hard.”

‘Everything hits you at night because your brain is turned off. You’ve done what you did the day before and you’re not really thinking about the next day because it’s the stupid hour in the morning.’

Kirk said that after the nightmares, he should check in with relatives to make sure they are okay.

He has even booked a private doctor appointment to get a checkup after repeatedly dreaming he had cancer to get assurances that he isn’t.

Kirk said, “I know I’m not, because in my head I say, ‘Kirk, you’re fine, you’re fine,’ but I really feel like I’m riddled with cancer.”

“It’s in my head and it’s been like this for three weeks now.”

He added: “I am aware that your mind is a very crazy place there. As long as you are aware of these signs and know that they are just thoughts.’
