Two women are fighting for their lives after an alleged hit-and-run accident in Brisbane.
A driver of a white SUV reportedly fled the scene of a two-vehicle crash on Anzac Avenue at 6.53am, leaving two people in a critical condition.
The Queensland Ambulance Service confirmed to Daily Mail Australia that one of the patients was downgraded to a “serious” condition and was taken to the Royal Brisbane Hospital.
The other patient is reportedly being treated at the scene, although his condition is unknown at this point.

The driver of one of the vehicles reportedly fled the scene and was approached by witnesses, according to the Courier Mail.
Emergency services are still on site.
