King Charles has arrived at Clarence House as the monarch continues his cancer treatment.
The monarch appeared to be in good spirits when he was photographed returning to the royal residence on Tuesday morning.
The 75-year-old does not perform public duties while receiving treatment, but continues to work behind the scenes on state documents.
While he is stepping away from official visits, other members of the royal family have taken on additional duties.
Queen Camilla has been holding down the fort since King Charles was diagnosed with cancer in January.
She has completed 13 official solo engagements since her husband’s condition came to light, but is now expected to hand the reins to the Prince of Wales and Princess Anne while she takes a break.

The Monarch (pictured above) seemed to be in good spirits in the back of the car.
The King was diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer following unrelated hospital treatment for an enlarged prostate earlier this year.
He was treated at the same hospital as the Princess of Wales, who underwent abdominal surgery for an unknown condition in January.
Kensington Palace said last week that Kate would return to royalty commitments after Easter.
The Princess of Wales was last pictured attending. a service at St Mary Magdalene Church in Norfolk in January before his planned surgery.
More recently, the Queen met Ukraine’s first lady Olena Zelenska at Clarence House on Thursday.
They were photographed chatting while sitting in the Garden Room, and their meeting came just days after the second anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Prince William and Princess Anne will take the reins from Queen Camilla while she takes a well-deserved break from work.

Camilla was also photographed placing her arm behind Zelenska’s back as she guided her down a hallway before their meeting.
Zelenska posted a video on social media in which Camilla greets her warmly with a kiss on both cheeks and says, “Hello.” Nice to see you.
She wrote that she was “delighted to personally express my gratitude to Her Majesty Queen Camilla, and in her person to all the @RoyalFamily and all the people of the United Kingdom for supporting (Ukraine) and our internally displaced people (IDPs).
‘Our values are common: life, freedom, democracy. Thank you for standing up for them together today.”
The gathering also focused on the family photographs on display, including portraits of the Queen Mother, the late Queen, a teenage Prince Harry and an image of the King cradling a baby in his arms, believed to be one of his grandchildren.
The Queen and first lady previously met in November 2022 at a reception at Buckingham Palace to raise awareness about violence against women.
Zelenska was invited to the coronation of the King and Queen last May, representing her war-torn nation with her prime minister Denys Shmyhal.
