Rashee Rice is expected to receive a multi-game suspension from the NFL following the Kansas City Chiefs star’s 119 mph car crash in Dallas that left him facing eight charges.
The Super Bowl winner turned himself in to police earlier this month after he and another speeding sports car driver allegedly caused a Accident involving half a dozen vehicles. on a Dallas highway in March.
Rice, 24, faces one count of aggravated assault, one count of collision resulting in serious bodily injury and six counts of collision resulting in injury.
But, according to ESPN’s Adam SchefterThe wide receiver also faces disciplinary action from the NFL and the prospect of a lengthy suspension looms for the Chiefs.
Rice could receive a ‘multi-game suspension,’ according to Schefter, and that may lead the Chiefs to select a wider receiver in the NFL Draft later this week.

Chiefs coach Andy Reid and general manager Brett Veach own the 32nd pick heading into this week’s draft and need to upgrade their offensive options.

The other priority for Kansas City is left tackle, where Donovan Smith arrived in free agency and the position remains practically vacant. Other positions where the Chiefs could add some depth include running back, tight end and defensive back.
