To B. Of course! has issued a cease and desist letter to Amazon and the publisher of a book purported to be the memoirs of the late Kim Porter.
The ‘fake’ book, called Kim’s Lost Words, was published in the wake of her ex-husband Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ arrest for sex trafficking and includes a variety of wild and unsubstantiated claims.
Now yes! – who was married to Porter in 1989 – is making an effort to end the sale of the literary work.
It was self-published under the alias Jamal T. Millwood on Amazon this month by a man named Todd Christopher Guzze.
Guzze, who also uses the name Chris Todd, claims to have investigated other lewd celebrity stories, including those of JonBenét Ramsey, Zodiac Killer and Kurt Cobain, according to rolling stone.

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and CEO Andy Jassy received a cease and desist from Sure! attorney Robert J. Hantman on Friday.
The letter notes that he has been “defamed by published false and malicious statements” and seeks to end ongoing book sales.
“If you do not comply with these demands within ten days, we will have no alternative but to resort to all available legal remedies, including the filing of a defamation lawsuit,” the correspondence warns, according to Page six.
The publication described Todd as an “investigative producer, author and journalist.”
Elsewhere in Al’s legal letter, he claims that the Amazon best-seller “falsely depicts Mr. Brown as engaging in fabricated sexual conduct, particularly with Sean Combs and the mother of his son, Quincy.”
“By misrepresenting his personal life and fabricating serious and false allegations of inappropriate sexual behavior, these defamatory claims have caused significant damage to Mr. Brown’s reputation,” the message continues.
Sure! He told Page Six: ‘As far as I’m concerned, I have nothing to do with any activity of that nature.’ It is the most disgusting and atrocious lie I have ever heard in my life.
Porter died in 2018 at age 47 due to lobar pneumonia. Now, his loved ones feel his legacy is being tarnished by the contents of the mysterious book.

The cease and desist letter further demands that, in addition to stopping book sales, the author issue a public apology that “must be clear, unambiguous, and widely circulated.”
Hantman told Page Six, “Amazon should be held to a higher standard,” adding, “As if one fake memoir wasn’t enough, it’s shocking that Jeff Bezos’ Amazon would distribute them without any research into their validity or accuracy.”
Todd told Rolling Stone that he has sources who “had (Porter’s) flash drive” and that he “didn’t ask too many questions about how they got it (or) where it came from.”
He also divulged: ‘If someone put my feet in the fire and said, ‘Life or death, is that book real?’ I have to say I don’t know. But for me it is quite real.
He continued: ‘Sometimes you have to publish it. Maybe not 100% of the book is true, but maybe 80% is.’

Last week, of course! took to social media to share excerpts from the “fake” memoir in the hope that authorities will investigate the publisher.
Porter’s four children, Quincy, 33 (whom she shares with Al), Christian ‘King’ Combs, 26, and twins D’Lila Combs and Jessie Combs, 17, have also spoken out against the book , insisting that it is full of “damage” and false rumors.’
‘Claims that our mother wrote a book are simply false. She didn’t, and anyone claiming to have a manuscript is misrepresenting themselves,” they wrote in a joint social media post.
Goalkeeper and safe! They were married from 1989 to 1990, while she and Combs were in an on-and-off relationship from 1994 to 2007.
