Kim Maresca makes her West End debut in Ruthless! After critical acclaim Off-Broadway
Off-Broadway hit music RUTHLESS! It debuted in the West End at the Arts Theatre, London, to critical acclaim.
The musical tells the story of beautiful and talented eight-year-old Tina Denmark who will do anything to star in her school play. The show is known for parodies of Broadway musicals from Gypsy to Mame as well as blockbusters including The Bad Seed and All About Eve.
“I’m so excited that this show that I love so much is getting new life here in London with such an amazing, creative team,” said ‘Marvel’ lead actress Kim Maresca, who plays a housewife turned singer.
Lead actress Kim Maresca plays Jodi Denmark, the self-sacrificing mother in the first half and the self-centered starlet in the second.
The program also stars Dancing on Ice star Jason Gardiner, ITV’s Dancing on Ice, and two-time Olivier Award winner TRacie Bennett.
The production features choreography by Rebecca Howell, design by Morgan Large, lighting design by Tim Lutkin, sound design by Gregory Clark, and musical supervision by Gareth Valentine.
Producers are Evan Sacks, Darren Bagert, Adam Mackie, Kenneth Shore, and Maxine Ball.
